The LivingDanube project is the currently largest environmental project in Central-Eastern Europe.

Within this, the largest project element is the Budapest Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, (BCWWTP), to be completed by 2010, with a budget of 249 million EUR.The Contractor of the BCWWTP is the Csepel 2005 FH Consortium, consisting of the consortium leader French company Degremont S.A. and its French partner the OTV France, as well as the Hungarian companies Hídépítő Zrt and Alterra Kft.
